This project is called the Japanese Notan. For this project, I cut black with an exacto knife and I flipped the paper along all of the axes to create this design. I cut out a jukebox, records, piano keys, and a black and white checkered floor! Listed below are two different sketches to help me brainstorm the layout of the design. I chose to not include the dancer in the final product.
