Breaking Anonymity is a Timeless Podcast Company production. Hosted by Third Bass hip hop legend MC Serch and award winning journalist Kyle Eustice, the podcast shares stories of addiction and recovery with its guests each week. Season one featured shares from an esteemed roster of world renowned musicians, producers, actors and athletes including Run DMC legend Darryl ‘DMC’ McDaniels, Talking Heads producer Frank X Gallagher, Jackass alumni and sponsored skateboard professional Brandon Novak and rapper/actor Slaine.

 

The aim of the podcast is to inspire those experiencing difficulties with addiction to take steps into recovery.

 

Whilst hosts Serch and Kyle, in conjunction with Grammy award winning sound producer Brett ‘Epic’ Mazur and his team handled the audio, I was responsible for the art direction of each episode. This included graphic design, motion graphics, video production for advertising and promotional materials for social media. Everything from the animated Timeless Podcast Company logo to the video editing and liaising with each guest and their team on how they preferred to be presented was trusted to me.

 

As it was a weekly episodic podcast produced over the lockdown period, turnaround was to a strictly regimented deadline. All communication between departments was conducted over Zoom, usually in the early hours as Serch is based in Florida, Kyle in New York, Brett in Los Angeles and myself in Barnsley.
