This necklace is crafted intentionally with the women of Vanderbilt University in mind. Since the school's founded in 1873, women on campus have fought tooth and nail for their right to be on campus, part of the faculty and integral to the administration's progression. This pendent honors the original women on campus and represents the importance of the Vaughn Home on campus as a place for marginalized voices on campus.
