THE TECHNOLOGY OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT (CHITA)

The study adopts a method of analogy to find cities similar to Chita in terms of population and area. This is necessary to identify the tools of sustainability of the territory.
The modeling method used the QGIS software package to build a model of Chita city, and derived the necessary parameters to develop new software that serves as both a survey tool and a tool for sustainable development
Conducted an urban analysis of Chita, on the basis of which is now developing a master plan. For Chita, the technology is as follows: Chita - a large city, has a strategic relevance in its development as a city in the Far East, as a logistics, recreational, tourist and industrial center. Relevance of the problem - the undeveloped city, the outflow of the population, the lack of necessary infrastructure for living and own production, while there are people who are not going to leave and the fact that the city has the potential for sustainable development.
The first stage established the vector of the methodology of the city survey, and the hypothesis that the city can develop through its production and recreational potential was put forward. In order to more accurately establish the problems and confirm the hypothesis, the analysis of existing experience was carried out, and the analogues of cities similar to Chita in terms of population size and area were cited. From the analysis by analogy method, such important tools as regional branding and marketing semantics were identified that confirmed the hypothesis of tourist potential and own production. Next, a survey of the state of the city and an analysis of its positive and negative characteristics, as well as the establishment of specific problems were carried out. A certain problematic of the city was lined up, and further vectors of solving the problem became clear, which are transformed into a variation of masterplanning. At the stage of the conceptual masterplan emerged a scenario of spatial development of Chita, identified 4 main scenarios, which subsequently became a single scenario vector, aimed at different areas of the city territory. This study completes the scope of work, but in the future it can be used for further detailing, design and implementation.
