Tic-Tac-Toe
I decided to make this Tic-Tac-Toe game because it was something that I had seen on Pinterest and is a popular game to play. I wanted to continue with doing woodworking projects to broaden my knowledge of wood shop tools and machines. This project is made up of a five foot piece of oak board.
My first step was measuring out nine 4inchX4inch squares for the board and cut them out on the chop saw.
Next, I measured out six 2inchX4inch pieces for the board and cut them out using the table saw and chop saw.
Next, I measured out two 2inchX15inch pieces for the board and cut them out using the table saw.
Once all of the board pieces were cut out, it was time to sand all of them for a smooth finish and edges and then glue it all together.
To finish up the board, I stained it to give it more of an appealing look and to have a different color than the playing pieces.
Next, I measured out nine 3inchX3inch squares for the X and O pieces and cut them out on the chop saw.
Then, I used the band saw to cut the X and O shapes out of the 3inchX3inch squares.
