Edited original photograph to add saturation. Added a distressed overlay on top of photograph. Used a physical vinyl album and removed its artwork in Photoshop. A vintage serif font like Leander felt right for this moody cover. Dabre Grunge also gives a vintage, bold, blocky feel. Created record label branding and logo. The vinyl was then added as an overlay to the photograph to add additional distressed marks on the edges and make the cover look photorealistic.
