The SKY Magnetar, commercial hypersonic airplane

The SKY Magnetar, commercial hypersonic concept plane
Since Concorde retired, interest around supersonic travel has been picking up pace, and several super-fast planes are under development or new disruptive concepts appear, but... we could have faster options to travel, the interest around hypersonic travel has been picking up too. the aeronautical industry is beginning to be in a position to carry out projects that bring us closer to both future realities.
That would get an aircraft from New York to London in just 90 minutes, in order to achieve that vision, engineers need to develop hybrid engines capable of handling subsonic, supersonic, and hypersonic speeds. Hypersonic speed is one that manages to exceed the speed of sound by five times. At that speed, an aircraft must be prepared to withstand really extreme conditions of temperatures and friction and also be equipped with engines capable of generating enough power to reach those speeds and being able to operate in the upper layers of the atmosphere, where the density of the air is lower.
The “SKY Magnetar” is a commercial hypersonic concept plane that could combine rocket and plane shapes with technological specifications of both. Designed to fly at Mach 5 speed (6,174 kph) thanks to its special fuselage shape with a length of 112 meters and 4 wings located in a specific angle and location in order to obtain the maximum performance at low and at high speeds. Powered by two combined cycle engines capable to adapt for a flight at subsonic, supersonic and hypersonic speed. One of the most remarkable aspect of this engines would be to be buildted with an architectonics of Blade-less configuration that would have the advantage of get many different shapes and sizes. The blade-less system would be based on a theoretical engine that could obtain the intake airflow that feeds the current turbofan engines through turbines located out of the main body engine.
Totally ecological because it would use hydrogen as fuel
The SKY Magnetar’s fuselage would be equipped with special active thermal control systems (ATCS) pumping fluids through closed-loop pipes, in order to control the heat generated by the air friction at Mach 5. The cooling sys would be feeded by hydrogen gas from the hydrogen fuel of the aircraft, that also would be used to cool superconducting magnets inside the engines.
Equipped with heat shields made on fibre–metal and ceramic matrix composites for aerospace applications. Using carbon–carbon composite used in the nose cone and leading edges, Heat exchangers require materials with high thermal conductivity, corrosion resistance, stiffness, strength, low permeability and high temperature stability; carbon–carbon composite is one of the few materials with this unique combination of properties.
Inspired by Mr. DOODLE's designs
SKY Magnetar specifications:

- Length: 367 ft 4 in (112 m)
- Wingspan: 137.7 ft (42 m)
- Wingspan (front): 98 ft (30 m)
- Capacity: 100-120 passengers
- Cruising speed: Mach 5 (6,174 kph)
- Maximum speed: Mach 5.5 (6,737.9 kph temperature limited)
- Service ceiling: 65,616 ft (20,000 m)
- Range: 7,456 mi (12,000 km)

The combined cycle engine is a personal creation based on real/current technology, would be composed by... (from the front to the back of the engine) a diffuser that could move forward/backward in order to control the intake airflow at different speeds, a plasma chamber (classified function), Superconducting magnets at low temperature (classified function), a main combustion chamber and a bypass ramjet engine; with these components this combined cycle engine would have the capacity to transform itself from a turbofan engine to a rocket engine.
The “SKY Magnetar” could have a capacity for 100 to 120 passengers in a very comfortable seats with all kinds of commodities. The passengers couldn’t have windows to see out of the plane, because the cabin should be pressurized due to the flight altitude, the cabin would have some small "round windows" like a Space capsule located on the top of it. The cabin would have virtual windows thanks to screens on the cabin walls.
