Hello, Neighbour!

Hello, Neighbour! is a social campaign designed to educate and encourage communication between residents.

Upon research, 19-30 years olds avoid conversations with their neighbors as compared to older residents. They felt that their introvert personality and lack of conversational skills are reasons holding them back. In order to revive the kampong spirit, residents need to see its benefits.

As such, a calendar and contact postcards have been designed to tackle the issues. These conversation resources have been personalized for the target audience of students, newlyweds and young families. The calendar provides tips to enhance their soft skills with the intimacy of their conversation increasing with time. Postcards complement the former by pooling specialty services for residents while namecards based on old-school phonecards are given out as limited edition collectibles.

The illustrations have been influenced by Malika Favre, in which her minimalistic lines and shapes have inspired the designer alot.
