Montreal Talents Video

This social and interactive project serves as a promotional tribute to street artists in Montreal.
The video uses the "thing-power" of a camera and the power of
conversation to bring it to fruition. A song that was being sung by one of those
artists was used, and was chosen throughout the process of documentation. The song is therefore the voice of the artists themselves.
Being an immediate participant in the project, by contacting the artists and spending time with them, ensured that the result was not only a project but rather a series of meaningful interactions and entanglements.

The video is in sync with the music and lyrics where the text is given life by allowing passersby to walk "over" it. I also “attached” the text to the camera’s movement in different scenes, allowing them to move together in harmony, playing on the video's ecology of image. Moreover, faint color
explodes from the bucket/hat once change is being offered.
