HOT WIND BLOWS
Day 107 of daily artworks of Deniz from Journey Industries
[meaning & technical explanation below]
One hundred and seven days. I haven't made a vector/geometric looking work in a while so decided to give it a shot today. I used to jump up and down, celebrate whenever it rained, but these past few years I needed the sunshine more. Rain clouds have been stubborn to stay looming over the city this spring. Maybe they're trying to wash something out of it. Our character is bored of this gloomy athmosphere, she's taking herself for a nice vacation passing over the waves, directing her air balloon towards south, across the horizon. This wasn't intentional at first but she blows all the hot air into the balloon. Fuelling the means of transportation to find a much-needed fuzzy "Shangri La" for herself. Giving a gentle kiss to her mighty carrier, sometimes letting her hair blow in the hot air that the color-block giant exhales back at her, inhaling it to get higher. Sometimes, I bet she's singing into it. I'm having a slightly uninspired design week. Working with colors, feelings, and these captions I write. I still wanna put cars in dark fields but I must force myself to try different things. Or do I?
