Whew! Elfing away at the backlog of projects from last year while it continues to snow. This is a DP/Drone Reel from the documentary Preserving Gravelly Ford, shot last fall with Knowledge Tree Films and the Oregon California Trail Association. It was a challenging shoot- 5 days running non-stop across Nevada and Utah without any assistants, sunrise-sunset every day, lots of driving, heat, dust, and a little snow. But it was really interesting material, and we had a lot of fun recreating scenes and trying to give a feel of what it was like to take everything you owned across multiple wildernesses. Great too, to record and include a really in-depth native perspective.
