Bristol to Den Haag and Back

Bristol to Den Haag and Back
I had to quickly fly into Den Haag in the Netherlands to shoot a portrait for a client, but instead of taking a simple camera, I thought I'd complicate matters and take a medium format behemoth instead.
It worked out quite well. I flew in the afternoon before, and flew out the evening after. It was two flights, and two trains, so there were lots of opportunities to have a wander round and see what I could find.
I love this shot (above) the most I think. The man doesn't quite seem to fit in; he seems perplexed, like he's a visitor from another planet. He seems a little oversized, and where everyone else is focused on their quotidian trajectory, he seems to have faltered, and is trying to work out what is going on, wondering what all these people are doing, and where they are going.
I know the feeling.
