My two favorite sports to play are soccer and basketball but, basketball has always come secondary to my love for soccer. So ive grown a preference for the lighter, more narrow and more true fit typical of soccer cleats. Basketball shoes are typically heavier and have a wider profile than soccer cleats which, makes for a more planted step that hinders my tendency to use my foot speed and foot work acquired through playing soccer.
