George Washington Carver Center
As co-creative director on the project, I was asked to design a new logo and website for the George Washington Carver Center, a local community and historical center in Bowling Green, Kentucky. They wanted a visual that would breathe new life into the long-standing building while simultaneously staying true to the center's founding principles.
The Carver Center wanted to keep their original green & yellow color scheme to honor the State Street High School located in the same neighborhood. I included a portrait of George Washington Carver into the logo since the center is named after the historical figure, and I added foliage to tie back to Carver's contributions
to agricultural science. The leaves are also used throughout the branding for a friendlier, warmer aesthetic.
