Celebrating 90 Years at the University of Louisiana Monroe

I began this project with writing a script. I researched the history of the University of Louisiana Monroe and organized the information into a narrative that highlighted the institution's past accomplishments, its present state, and future aspirations.

After writing the script, I reviewed archives of the university's historical footage, photographs, and other relevant materials. This helped me visualize how to tell the story visually, as well as select relevant clips to use in the video.

Once I had a good sense of the visual elements I wanted to include in the video, I interviewed President Ron Berry to include his insights and perspective on the university's history, current state, and future goals. This helped add a personal touch to the video and make it more engaging for viewers.

With the footage and audio gathered, I then choose music that fit the tone and mood of the video, as well as select video effects to enhance the visual storytelling. This step is crucial in making the video more dynamic and engaging for the audience.

Finally, I edited all of the footage and audio together, adding in the music and video effects to create a cohesive, polished final product. This step involved cutting down the footage to the most important and impactful moments, as well as adjusting the audio and color grading to make the video visually appealing. 

Once the video was completed, I then distribute it through various channels, such as social media, the university's website, and at events.
