Feeding America: A Custom Stamp Series
For this project I developed a series of images to raise awareness of Hunger Action Month. Roughly 1 in 9 people in America suffer from food insecurity or hunger on a daily basis. In this project I used Adobe Illustrator to create vector images relaying the message. I then created a color scheme that worked well with the designs. After revising four of my images, I created a postage stamp style border and arranged them in a display form.

After additional critiques I made some slight adjustments to the placement and color of some of my designs. I believe these changes strengthened my design and ultimately gave each stamp it's own individual feel.

I brought in my thumbnails to Illustrator and created some vector roughs in black and white. I also added some color to the roughs to get an idea of color schemes that I wanted to use.

Food Insecurity Mind Map- Here I did a little brainstorming on what I might include in my images for the Hunger Awareness Month stamps I would be creating.
Food Love thumbnails- I landed on a concept of food and love together and created a few thumbnail sketches for my stamp images.
