I’mmoving to Finland to my MA at Aalto University and I would like to share withyou my diploma project that I’ve made before choosing Furniture design as afuture specialization.
Hugo chair recalls minimalistic features and Scandinavian style. The idea behind was to make emotional, simple and functional object, meeting the needs of people in public spaces like cafes or exhibitions, where you can seat and have a rest with comfort both for you and your belongings.
The special gap between the seat and the armrest allows to keep your bag close to you decreasing the glory of pickpockets and leaving it clean and tidy even in the dusty streets and spaces. Stackable design gives the owner more storage space and freedom, still making the day brighter with its eye-catching colours.
