Bertha is a luxurious car magazine with a target audience of women in their thirties to late sixties. It is proven that the minority audience of car magazines are women. Most car magazines you find will feel more sport like and use heavy typefaces. To stand out from its audience, Bertha aims fast and goes for an elegant approach for the upper class target audience. 

Since this is a magazine targeted more towards women, the name is inspired by Bertha Benz, the first woman to drive an automobile in history.  The color red is used to show passion and excitement for the love that we have for cars. The color black is used to describe its target audience as sophisticated and elegant whereas, white is used to bring minimalism to the brand.
