The principal of this small high school decided to modify school's yard in a way it can serve to additional purposes such as summer gatherings and occasional exams.
The main principle of design was minimizing the impact of new facilities on current setting. Therefore, instead of a permanent solid shelter, a seasonal light shade was suggested in order to let students take the advantage of an open space, especially the view of sky and fresh air. 
This light shade provides required shadow and is still flexible with regard to other elements, such as trees.
We designed the requested shelter, its details and landscape in collaboration with one of my fellow architects in Padid Design and Research Studio.
