OFF THE RECORD
A publication to highlight the dark past of Telok Ayer, where secret societies ran rampant in the 1970s-1980s. It follows the vandalised records of a police officer whom infiltrated one of the societies, where he gave insights through his own views and ideologies. The vandalism has been done by members when he was found to be an officer. This is to highlight thoughts and feelings from both sides, and provide answers to why people get sucked into such a vicious lifestyle. A raw and honest documentation given by those who have lost their voice a long time ago, as they are now deemed as hooligans and a nuisance by the police and public.
