A no nonsense audio tour for the Frans Hals Museum

The Frans Hals Museum in Haarlem has a superb collection of sixteenth- and seventeenth-century paintings. Fabrique was asked to create their free audio tour app for iPhone.
We created an app which puts the actual art works at the center. The app provides an audio tour explaining the highlights of the collection of paintings and special themes such as the history of the building and special exhibitions. In some cases there is additional background information, or restorers and curators explain their personal approach. Besides the audio tour, visitors can also find practical information in the app.
