Next in the series is the infamous Basilisk scene, also known as the King of Serpents, was placed by Salazar Slytherin to guard the Chamber of Secrets deep within the dungeons beneath Hogwarts. When confronting Tom Riddle in the dungeon, Fawkes appeared bringing with him the Sorting Hat from which the Sword of Gryffindor came. This allowed Harry to show true bravery and pierce through the mouth and head of the Basilisk, thus killing it.

No matter how many times I watch this scene and keep telling myself it is only animatronics and CGI combined it still scares me to my wits end and wonder how on earth a 12 year old boy could confront such a monster. A true Gryffindor Harry is.
