RISD Architecture was a series of laser-etched sketchbooks I was commissioned by RISD to produce. My concept is inspired by the many studio spaces of RISD; and how, much like a sketchbook, these spaces facilitate the creative growth of artists and designers. This work was the culmination of a Wintersession class at RISD which aimed to develop the "RISD gift"--an object to be given by the school's faculty and staff that would represent and facilitate a deeper discussion about RISD.
Through this project I learned important freelance skills such as concept presentation for clients, costing, and execution for limited production scenarios. I incorporated the use of AS220's digital fabrication facilities into my business model.
