Recently I had the privalage to work for TransMed. I was in the Product Design group, and our focus was the UI/UX. Much of my part was creating or updating icons for the Bio-Informatics Suite application. This is not all of the icons I made, but they're some of my favorites.
The above two icons were some of my first. There is a little roughness to them that has a certain charm but you can tell they were early work, still I'm quite pleased with them.
These two were some of the first where I began to really hit my stride. I had much better over all concepts and figured out some fairly clever ways of simplifiing the image at the low end of the sizes. You get a whole new appreacaition for color choice when the canvas is only 16x16 px and 14x14 px.
These are some solid ones. They're nice riffs off existing icons from the app and completely fresh takes on some of the look and feel too.
I added an outline around the red "T" because there was not enough color contrast w/o it.
This group I'm particularly proud of. All of these are icons that are new to the app and thus are all my own work.
