A little of practicing illustration and animation. I re-drew and animated with adaptations from the original, a poster created in 1952 for the Pan-American Football Championship held in Chile - Unfortunately, I couldn't obtain information about the responsible artist.
The poster choice was randomly taken from the book "The History of Graphic Design. 40th Ed.: 1890 - today" by Jens Müller.
The Tournament
The 1952 Pan-American Football Championship was the third edition of the tournament, held in Chile from February 14 to 28 of that year. The competition featured the participation of eight teams: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, and Uruguay.
The tournament was not marked by any significant situation that directly affected its progress or final result.
