I was commissioned by MAG Brazil for the year of France in 2009 to photograph the village of Conques-en-Rouergue. It is part of "The most beautiful villages of France", built on a hillside and has classic narrow medieval streets. The Abbey Church of Sainte-Foy was a popular stop for pilgrims on the Camino de Santiago on their way to Santiago de Compostela. What a pleasure it was to see the sun rising on that picturesque commune.
