CROMOSTORIE del Novecento
Cromostorie del Novecento is an iconographic book which retraces the history of the Twentieth century in a chromatic key.
Both within the photos and the artistic works, and through the use of graphic elements to highlight certain details, it tries to communicate the ideas and emotions that the chosen colors, red, yellow and blue, and the non-color black inspire.
In particular, red is associated with revolutions and protests; yellow with prosperity and rebirth; blue with scientific and political progress; black with terror and pain.
The subdivision of the chapters follows the chronological order of the events and the beginning and the end of each chapter are marked by precise historical events.
