Brand Identity
The Goal
Dan already had an idea for the name Geek Squad, and he wanted us to create an eye-catching brand for the new small tech support company.

The Solution
We had to strike a balance between paying the correct respect to the previous brand, which had a retro feel but was a little tired, and doing something fresh and exciting.

We started, as always, with an exploratory meeting with key questions about who the audience is and who Jamie and Nadine wanted to come through their doors now, and in the future. They are selling bikes for anyone, whatever experience and for every level underneath the top-end ‘proper’ serious riders.

We created a bespoke wordmark using a font which was approachable and friendly. It needed to be professional to build trust, as bikes are big, expensive purchases that you only rarely make. However, it is important that the shop is family-run, by people who like bikes, who care about you buying the right one – so a brand with personality was a must.

The colour palette is versatile whilst distinctive. If the ongoing social media presence is executed well, it should be a brand that can be associated with quality, reasonably priced bike sales and service.
