Once upon a time, in the bustling city of Dar es Salaam, I was given a thrilling opportunity. I had been hired to create the campaign for DStv Tanzania's latest package, "DStv POA", which aimed to reach a wider audience while maintaining the brand's premium status.

I knew that I had my work cut out for me. DStv had long been seen as a premium brand, and the challenge was to broaden its appeal without making it seem cheap. I wanted to create a campaign that would grab attention and generate buzz, something that would stick in people's minds.

After much brainstorming and creative exploration, I landed on a Swahili slang phrase that I believed was perfect: "Zigo Kama Lote", which meant "Stuffed Package". The catchphrase was cleverly crafted to highlight the package's value over its price, and its use of the word "ZIGO", which had a risqué double meaning, was sure to capture attention.

I poured my heart and soul into the campaign, working tirelessly on the tagline, radio jingle, spots, and TV commercials. And my hard work paid off. When the campaign was launched, it was an instant hit, generating a buzz across the city.

Thanks to the team at creative team at Aggrey & Clifford, DStv Tanzania's new package was a resounding success. A year later, the Tanzania Marketing Science Association (TMSA) recognized the campaign's excellence by awarding it the coveted "Best Campaign of the Year" award.
