I’ve been listening to a diverse range of change makers on Spotify - from entrepreneurs to design experts to spiritual leaders to influencers in various spheres. The one recurring theme that’s stayed on has been around existentialism which by definition is ‘is the philosophical belief we are each responsible for creating purpose or meaning in our own lives.’ As I get inspired and this one amalgamation of everything that I’ve consumed over the last couple of weeks struck a cord.

To me the purpose of life (and what comes closest to answering it) would be to move up the ‘value chain.’ What do I mean here? It would mean moving up from ‘suffering’ to ‘surviving’. Each time I’ve been thrown into a challenge or a sticky situation or a difficult relationship or something that seems insurmountable at first, I’ve mostly looked at moving from ‘suffering’ to ‘surviving’.

The real magic begins when I can move from ‘surviving’ to ‘thriving’ and those are the special moments which make life wholesome, nutritious and fulfilling! I make it sound like a snack - but that’s life - with all it’s bite-sized wisdom, one neat package at a time.
