I was a volunteer graphic designer for a nonprofit organization called Kids First Initiative based in Auburn Hills, Michigan. My task was to create a digital flyer that advertised Spring Break camps and this event offers educational activities for children. The activities included arts, drones, engineering, and technology mixer.
The intention of my flyer design is to make it somewhat resemble a cartoon image. Since the main demographic of this event is children, I want this flyer to look as fun, energetic, bright, and childish as possible. I also designed the flyer to have a modern appearance using a clean and minimalist design so that children and adults can read and understand the information.
