Poster Design & Tshirt Print Tech
I was required to design a poster and a separation printing process T-shirt for this assignment. The subject was a song titled Y.T.T.E. (Yield To Total Elation) by the electronic music duo M.A.T.M.O.S. The song references an imaginary city with skyscrapers, cathedrals, and vast public buildings with people (friends, family, and supporters) supporting the musicians' art.
The design consists of whimsical building-like shapes to reference the imaginary city of the song. The circles are placed to represent the beat of the music, and the man sitting represents the support system. A vibrant blue is the main color of the design to contrast black and white elements. I wanted to express a fun, whimsy, patterned feel to the poster and T-shirt design.
