PREVIEW is one of the top fashion magazine in the Philippines held by Summit Media Philippines. I was commissioned to create their first illustrated cover in history. This was for their Art + Fashion April 2014 issue.
The concept for the cover illustration is to create a Prada paradise as well as to evoke femininity and power which is also the theme of Prada's latest Spring fashion show and the concept for Preview's cover photo. This was also inspired by Jeanne Detallante's 2009 Citizen K illustration which revolves on the theme, 'children and their imaginary friends'.

DEVELOPMENT
I began to sketch each creatures and elements into a 16 x 24 inches paper. My goal is to let the illustration stand by itslef even without the photograph. In that case, I developed the illustration first and then chose fitting elements that could blend well into the magazine cover. I didn't want the cover to get crowded that's why I didn't include all of the elements I created.
