The above images are early iterations of a poster for a play that would be put on by the theater group at Miami University. Each level of poster had different constraints.

For the first poster visual interest was created only through the placement of the text. There was no adjusting of the size of the font or leading.

In the second version, text could be placed into various styles of the same font.

The third version had the addition of two new font sizes that could be used.

In the fourth version, any constraint on font size was removed, and the text could be resized freely.

In the fifth and final variation, I could add one other font style to the composition.
