Well, I'm a Redbull fan, so I decided to participate on their MakeYourMark competition. Is about making a custom livery for the new RB19 car, to be competing on Miami this year. I've always liked when teams race with custom liveries. It's an interesting addition because if the car does well, it always be remembered as a winning desing.
So my design is based on curves. Not any curves,
The generative lines are the circuit of Miami itself
decomposed into the car and making this fluent and speedy feeling with
92 curves in total. Those are the RedBullRacing race wins -at this moment-
I hope the final design has more to that date =).
The background color is the Redbull Blue+ a little degrade from the top to a
brighter and more look like -sunny miami beach- style.
Using parametric design allows me to modifiy it to make a more accurate design with ease. This is a first draft proposal that I designed to fit into the RedBull contest 3d visualization website, so the idea is there but there is more detail to put into it. It will be much better to have a 3d model of the car to make it super detailed. I would love to do it but first we will see if they select my design hehe.
