While I was looking for references for a project, I started coming across multiple images 

of clear-cased Macintosh SE computers (1987-1990). From these I got the idea, as an exercise, for designing a similar concept computer that would come from an alternate timeline to ours, one where space travel is ubiquitous and rad-hardening a more common design constraint. 

Conceptual design is always fun to do, and so is translucent plastic.
