Learning For Life

life skills necessary for preparedness and adaptability, to memorizing information necessary for passing a succession of standardized tests. Learning for Life aims to fill the gap between life skills and academics at a younger age. Elementary age students and their parents are provided with learning tools that can be used as a supplement to their education during summer breaks. At the end of the summer, students have the opportunity to an activities fair in which local community members and businesses come together to help students practice and demonstrate their newly learned skills. Learning for Life provides kids with a series of hands-on activities, which enables them to set a foundation of life skills from which they can build upon for future success.

The Life Activity Kit. This includes 10 hands on activities for kids to do, an acheivement poster and acheivement stickers to help track their progress.

Log In Page: Parents can log in to gain the resource of volunteering for their childs skill fair, Track their childs progress, contact other parents and use the activity board.
Skill Tracker Page: Parents can use this to track their childs progress.
Activity Board Page: Parents can work together and host activities to give the children more oppertunities to learn.
Scholarship Page: Once the child hits junior or senior year in high school they get theopportunity to apply for the Learning for Life scholarship if they had completed the Learning for Life program in Elementary School.
