Design for Recovery was a project I've collaborated with Nazanin Varasteh, who made the beautiful dresses out of recyclable materials, and I've done the photography.
"The idea behind Recovery Design is to make us question our use of products and its consequences by using fashion as a medium and creating elaborate dresses from trash. Helping the world recover from what we it's been through.
It's not only about recycling, reusing, and repurposing, but also about finding alternatives and adjusting designs that can cause harm to our environment. Rethinking what we create and its long-term effects and sustainability. To demand better and more thoughtful products." - Nazanin.

The work was presented at the Recovery Design Fashion show, 2014/04/18, Ringling College of Art and Design exhibition hall.
