I have selected the iconic Tube Map created by Harry Beck as my source of inspiration for my pastiche. The minimalistic yet intricate design of Beck's map captivated me and continues to evoke fascination in many individuals. Unfortunately, the popularity of Beck's design has resulted in its widespread replication, with various versions being circulated globally. 

As an avid mountaineer, maps hold immense significance for me and I fully appreciate their value. Thus, I have combined my passion for climbing with my admiration for Beck's design by creating a unique representation of my favorite mountain, Mt. Shasta. This work features several of the climbing routes I have personally traversed multiple times as well as many iconic routes that exist on Mt. Shasta.
