This is a project for second year at University. We were breifed to design a carrying system by Tim Fish Design. I chose to redesign a Golf Bag, named Roama. I designed Roama with a view for easier transportation over the golf course but also as a rented golf bag from the club shop for those who don't play reguarly and don't own a golf bag of their own.

Function, Design, Durability.
I used three test rigs built from various materials but mainly from cardboard.
I tested these rigs on several surfaces to see how they would perform.
Below is my final design.
The ball on the base of the golf bag is able to travel over different gradients of land without toppling over due to the design. There are two outer wheels which will rotate indiviaudally on a track attatched to the ball if the user decides to turn sharply over the golf course.
The openings for the golf clubs can accomodated a full size set of professional golf clubs. The openings are designed to distribute weight evenly throught the golf bag, making it much more stable.
