My first play around with Adobe Substance 3D Sampler and the v4 3d model generation. A quick setup with a stationery camera and rotating the subject by hand, and lighting with a flash - not ideal - but quite impressive results all the same!
The first video is an animation rendered in Cinema4d, the second is the initial model in Substance 3D Sampler, the 3rd is a still of the Redshift render of the model in Cinema4d, then the final is one of the original 80+ photos used to make the model - subject trimmed out in Photoshop. It was actually shot against a pretty busy background - the automatic mask generation did a good job in Sampler). I mainly wanted to do something that wasn't a tree trunk ;)
