2012 saw the start of the Collegiate Leadership Conference of Ohio (CLCO) as part of SEaL becoming an actual brand. With that, our 2012 conference was the first under the new brand as well as the first of our conferences to offer differentiated sessions based on people's interests. Surveys from last conference noted that people wanted to see features in 3 areas: service, engagement and diversity. As such, we took that into our theme and made it "Navigate your Pathway".
The above image was a save the date card sent to previous colleges. Both the department and the conference were undergoing name changes, thus why this image was so beta. The next 3 images are advertisements sent out a few months later. The department name and logo had been finalized, but the service peg doesn't change to a bright red until a few days before the actual conference.
We also held a book drive at Columbus State and Toy Drives (same layout, challenge words changed) for our service project during the conference. While the poster didn't entirely match the visual style of the conference, the idea was to just advertise it and get donations.
The next couple images are from the conference booklet itself. The bars became more saturated in color and the final design had taken shape.
With the varying pathways, people could complete the breakout sessions only OR participate in the service project to recieve the Leadership & Service certificate. These were made for resume purposes.
