HBCU All-Star Battle of the Bands — Brand Identity
The HBCU All-Star Battle of the Bands is an event that showcases the talent of the country’s top Historically Black Colleges and Universities, entertain audiences both young and old, and support the HBCU music community with scholarships.
The goal was to create a memorable mark to kick off a new generation of Battles of the Bands. Taking inspiration from various marks from the 1990s, I wanted to create a mark that was familiar and would attract audiences of all ages.
