The Blind Pig  was a popular name for speakeasies during the 1920s in the United States as many establishments would charge customers to see an attraction, such as an animal like a pig and then serve a “complimentary” alcoholic beverage, thus evading the law. These attractions evolved into animal races which provided entertainment for patrons, similar to our modern-day live sports bars today located in Hong Kong.
