Here, I examine the idea of a home where one lives and works. We have, no doubt, all seen examples of flats and houses in books and the many design magazines which are full of the latest concepts ranging from the small and utilitarian, to more luxurious and generous dwellings. What should a new live-work environment provide – what could houses actually be like in the 21st Century?
