Abandonware: from "abandon" and "-ware", a suffix indicating a set of objects manufactured for a same purpose.

After having shared our everyday life, in a sometimes affective way, the objects we possess are thrown away, abandonned, quickly forgotten and replaced. Having become useless or unusable (break-up) they are left at the front of our door for one day and finally disappear rapidly, taken away by someone for being reexploited, recycled or simply destroyed in a dumpster.
Photogaphed as-is in the street (sometimes looking like a setup) without alteration, these objects seem like in a store's showcase. Farther than their practical utility arises the question of their ephemeral nature, their consumption, affected by a rich and mondane history of those who left them there. These snapshots are impromptu encounters; from these personified objects radiate a soul that questions us about our social relation with them.
