Two of my passions are the Chinese culture and the Stop Motion animation, the Year of the Rabbit was the perfect excuse for a little project merging both of them.

It has been my first time for a few things: creating my own puppet with it's own armature, animating using clay, so lots of opportunities for learning while enjoying making things.

From designing the character, and building it, animating the rabbit performing Taichi, or making the Chinese calligraphy it has been project of passion that I enjoyed it from beginning to end. I was planning on making a set and a few more props for the background but due to time constraints I had to reign my ambitions back a bit.

I am still quite proud of the end results with it's many mistakes.
