PowerUP - EV Station, Visual Brand Identity

Overview:

PowerUp is a Lebanese electric vehicle (EV) company that provides a range of services to EV users, including an app that links users together and helps them navigate EV stations and customized EV station solutions for both public and private use. The company also offers a rental service for private and public EV stations to help users generate passive income.

Challenges:

1.
The main challenge for the PowerUp project was to create a unique and innovative logo that would reflect the company's techy, trustworthy, stable, and well-structured image while avoiding common charging symbols, such as bolts. The design team had to create a logo that would stand out from the crowd and reflect the company's values and services.

2. The logo should have a version that incorporates an EV-related illustration, which can be used for advertising purposes at a later time.
Solution:

To meet the challenge, the PowerUp logo was constructed from scratch, with a focus on creating a unique design that would reflect the brand's image. The design team created an abstract manipulation of the typefaces to reflect the charging aspect, instead of using the commonly used charging symbols.
The letter "E" in Powerup was manipulated to represent a charging battery, giving a sense of familiarity to users while also reflecting the company's core service. The letter "U" and "P" were designed to resemble a charging gun, further emphasizing the company's charging services.
