Honor to my father. His beautiful career as a pilot in US & Belgian Air Force from 1951 till 1975. Starting at Goetsenhoven(B) on a bi-plane SV-4, Then for further training he flew on T-6, T-28 and T-33 and F-80 at Bainbridge and Bryan AFB in the US-Class 52-G.

Came back to Belgium and started as a fighter pilot on F-80 and F-84 F at Florennes AFB. Became examinator TSV at Brustum AFB on T-33 and then moved to the 15e Wing at Melsbroek and flew on  C-119 Flying Boxcar, Pembroke, Dakota-DC-3, DC-4 and DC-6.
