This project was about creating an illustration of an iconic character with your own art style. The iconic character could be from a famous movie, television show, drama, novel or games. I chose an iconic character from a horror game series.
Back then the game was still newly released but it got a lot of popularity because of this particular character in the game. The character's name was Alcina Dimitrescu or known as Lady Dimitrescu from the fan based. She is one the major antagonist in the Resident Evil Village game that came out in early 2021 and was created by Capcon. In the game, she was mutated by Mother Miranda for an experimentation to find a perfect host for her deceased daughter but Dimitrescu was not a perfect host. Mother Miranda ended up making her one of her children to help her to find a host.
Anyways, after I did a lot of research to understand of what kind of character that Lady Dimitrescu was in the game, I have made 4 different ideas of the illustration for this project. Also, I decided to add Lady Dimitrescu’s family crest as part of the illustration because in the game her family crest can be seen in the castle often.
